Powerboat & sea forts photos

Explorers from K2 Unit visited Whitstable for a powerboat fun day. The highlight of the day being a visit to the World War Two forts in the Thames estuary some 8 miles offshore. The Explorers were given the opportunity to take control of a variety of powerboats from the £16,000, 100 horsepower Centaurus to the ZapCap which is the nearest you get to a Go-kart on water. We would to thank Kent Water Scouts (www.waterscouts.org) for their co-operation in organising this day.
